Stanford confronts Bamboo Ceiling for Asian Executives
I led diversity and leadership development trainings 10 years ago and was hopeful that more progress had been made so that programs like this would be unnecessary. I’m glad that the gaps, challenges are recognized with resources and programs like Stanford’s. INSTITUTIONAL bias, discrimination and privilege (vs. individual actions) are most persistent and deleterious but are often overlooked due to its “invisible” nature. Big kudos to Center for Work-Life Policy for validating the problem with stats and research.
