I’m writing on cultural identity and growing up as an Asian American female in the Deep South. Part of my research is reading about families who have adopted Asian children, the diversity of the Asian American experience across generations and overlays of culture, class, gender, ethnicity and sexual orientation.
The books I’m reading and reviewing now are:
- The , edited by Ann Rauhala
- , edited by Vickie Nam
I’ll share reflections and commentary along the way…stay tuned!
